PIZZAPIZZA was born in 2012 from a passion for authentic Italian cuisine and a vision to bring the true essence of Neapolitan pizza to Canada, but with a distinctly Canadian twist that celebrates our local ingredients and culinary creativity.
Our founder, Sophia Romano, spent five years in Naples studying under master pizzaiolos, learning the time-honored techniques that have been passed down through generations. Upon returning to Canada, she was determined to create pizzas that honored those traditions while embracing Canadian influences.
What started as a small pizzeria in Toronto with a single wood-fired oven has grown into a beloved brand known across the country. Despite our growth, we've maintained our commitment to artisanal methods – each pizza is still handcrafted, our dough still ferments for 72 hours, and we still cook exclusively in wood-fired ovens built by Neapolitan artisans.
